Give you 7 easy cheap meals for 50 homeless?

Twice a week members of our church put together hot breakfast Sandwiches for the area homeless. We purchase pre-cooked sausage patties and pre-cooked egg rounds at a local wholesale grocers, and heat them on a large flat grill. The sandwiches each get 1 sausage patty, 1 egg round, and 1 slice of cheese between a sliced, toasted, buttered English muffin, which we toast 20 at a time in 2 ovens. We then wrap each sandwich in waxed paper and aluminum foil and put them in a thermal carrying bag. They stay hot for about half and hour that way. We take the sandwiches and several carafes of coffee to places where we know the homeless hang out. Total cost is about 85 cents a sandwich.
