Can we stop deforestation

Yes, if people stop cutting down trees for making paper, furniture, etc. we could stop it, yet it may not happen because trees are needed to make paper and paper will always be needed.

Another idea is replanting. If we replant more trees than we cut down, even though it takes a long time for them to mature, in time we would have a sustainable amount to harvest each year. It would take a lot of land and a lot of dedication and time, but replanting is a good way to renew the trees that we are using.
