What should I do if I've met someone that I'm extremely attracted to but I still love my first girlfriend to death?

I've been with my first girlfriend for almost 2 years, since the day I came out. I love her so much, and she's amazing, but I recently met another girl who I'm extremely attracted to and cannot stop thinking about. I feel like I'm cheating even though I haven't done anything. My girlfriend and I have plans for the future, share all the best friends, and we live together now... I would screw everything up if I acted on impulse. What should I do? :(

This sort of thing is going to happen now and again; it happens to all of us. So ask yourself how you would feel if your girlfriend was secretly attracted to another person -- chances are, it would hurt. So take a deep breath and remind yourself that yes, it's tempting, but no -- it's not worth throwing away something you've spent two years building.
