Why is hades so important?

Because Hades controls the underworld he can make people die.Long ago people called him "the rich one" or the 'the hospitable one" because of his wealth and hospitality.They feared if they didn't call him that they would die.Without him the underworld would be in chaos!That's why he's so important!
