Does Mayor Mike Rawlings of Dallas Texas support or oppose same-sex marriage?

Mayor Rawlings has told the press that he is personally in favor of same-sex marriage but does not want to get involved in divisive social issues. That is the reason he gave for not joining Mayors for the Freedom to Marry.
