Do owls have a special feather?

No. Owls and all birds have a special type of "oil" on their wings that make the water go down and off their wings. Some birds however, can't stay in the water too long or they will drop from their flight, can't see and crash, or for a bird that can't fly, like an ostrich, NOT A PENGUIN will get soaked and be too heavy for their legs and drop to the ground.
