People can be mean to animals for various reasons. Some people kill or abandon animals because the animal is not wanted. Some people are mean because they are just twisted, mean people. Some people don't feed their animals because they can't afford it. Sometimes, people just forget about their animals. If you see a stray animal, contact your local ASPCA. Make donations to the local shelter to help them take care of all the animals that go neglected.
