What is the definition of a dickie?

A dickie is an accessory for a tuxedo. It is meant to replace the white undershirt traditionally worn under the black coat of a tuxedo. Dickies are no longer worn by most people, particularly because formal wear and tuxedos in general are no longer worn often.
