Who was Charles G. Daws?

Charles G. Dawes (born August 27, 1865 in Marietta, Ohio; died April 23, 1951 in Evanston, Illinois) was an American politician who served as the 30th Vice-President of the United States between March 4, 1925 and March 4, 1929.
