Can you sign up for answerscom without facebook?

At this moment in time - you need a Facebook account to sign up with Answers. When I joined Answers (in 2010) you didn't need a Facebook account - now - you do. From a personalpoint of view, I think it's a bad idea forcing people onto Facebook just to use this site - as some people (me included !) have no desire to put their personal information onto an (obviously) insecure website !

I hope Answers reverses their decision to force people onto Facebook - it serves no purpose !
