Why some fruit have one seed and other grows many seeds?

Because some are more awesome than others. I joke, I joke. It depends on the seed and its likelihood of surviving and making it to a plant. The ones with the most seeds are the ones that are less likely to germinate in the right conditions, therefore increase its chances with more seeds :)
