How peace can be achieved?

Peace could possibly be achieved if all people on Earth became non-judgmental towards each other and accepted each other as equals. In addition, everyone's spiritual beliefs, their faith, should be respected, whether they choose to believe in a higher power, or not. Believing in a higher power, in itself, does not guarantee peace because more people have been murdered in the name of God than for any other reason in all of history.

Peace can be found in meditation, which is not the absence of thinking, but a focused thinking that allows for introspection. Some types of prayer are actually a type of meditation.

Peace can be achieved by fully and utterly trusting all of your cares and burdens to a Higher Power who cares and answers your prayers, such as Jesus Christ, the One who has given me my personal peace.

One of the great sustaining factors with my personal walk with the Lord is through the combination of prayer and music, such as contemporary Christian Music. The Words and my spirits are lifted and I praise God and pray to Him about my heart's desires and concerns.

There are also many meditative music CD's available that are very relaxing and calming. There are many titles and sometimes are referred to as New Age music.
