The Employee Warning Letter provides a basic template for officially notifying employees when they are performing below your expectations. It addresses common issues such as attendance, poor performance, or violations of company policy. It can also be used in an open-ended way if the issue does not fall under one of those categories.

The letter also allows you to state steps the employee must take and a timeframe in which to correct the situation.
