Unlikely; bikes don't have a sense of smell, so it's doubtfull any gas you could produce would be that offensive to it! Besides, if it really didn't like the smell it would kick you off! On a serious note, however... No sensor in the world could detect the quality of the fuel you put in your bike. It is more likely that the fuel level sensor is stuck or has become caked in grime. A good clean should do the trick. If not, check all the electrical connections to the sensor and the dash; there may be one that is loose, or not earthed properly.
