Can you become a physical therapy assistant?

A physical therapist assitance (PTA), requires less education and has less decision making responsiblities. PTA do not perform assesment of a patient, they follow the plan of care as designed by the physical therapist. They do, however, need to monitor the patients response to treatment and do have lots of decision making.
