It depends on the social environment and the person themselves. If he/she is dating a boy/girl, in some cases, somebody will most likely get peer pressured into doing something. Sometimes, if he/she doesn't get what they want, they'll go and spread a rumor about them. (Ex. They'll say something like, "She had sex with me and three other boys. She did everything I told her too. We even video taped it. I even got her to take naked pictures of herself and send them to my email address. Wanna see? I can prove it". Or they'll say, "It's over. I don't want you anymore. You didn't meet my requirements. It's okay. I got another one on the side."
People gossip. That's life.
It's starts with one story and ends up with a completely different story.
One says something came up missing after you left. She's steals...don't trust her.
Another: "She said she can kick her butt any day. She love to fight people. She was making fun of her the other day. One day she was by the garbage can and tried to throw a paper ball at her. Then, she claimed she tried to throw some paper away. Yeah, Right."
In some cases, it's peer pressure.
Like I said before, it varies. I know from personal experience.
Hope this helps.
I feel that teenagers get a bad reputaion because a very small minority are bad. Hey, we all have an odd drink, cigarette. but does that mean we're evil? i know my mother was smoking when she was 14 and drinking then too, she never really lectures me about these kind of things, she can't it would be hypocritical. but have other people got the right to demise us because of our age? i think people should respect us and let us make mistakes and have fun once in a while, we're only young once. we are the generation that killed Britain apparenly? pfft. in a few years we're going to be the generation that saves Britain. older people need to trust us, we're not all the same.
