How do you find information on the Berlin Butterfly paintings in memory of summer 1945?

I have one of these paintings and would really like to also find out any information on this. I currently cannot find any. Thank you. There is a Berlin Butterfly Painting hanging in the Belmar Fishing Club in Belmar, NJ. I stopped to read the explanation...I don't remember everything but it they were created by the citizens of Berlin as a way to begin to make their city beautiful again after it was ruined by the war.
