Why do you think that your group is a subculture and not a counterculture?

Our group is a subculture because we share certain values, interests, and beliefs that differentiate us from the mainstream culture, but we are not actively opposing or seeking to change dominant societal norms and values like a counterculture would. Instead, we exist alongside the broader culture, forming our own unique identity within it.
