Ephedrine is the only legal OTC stimulant, but must be purchased and consumed only by people 18 years or older; also, many states require you log your purchase of ephedrine containing products and limit the amount you can purchase. Amphetamines are a schedule II substance; some of the only on label ailments it can be prescribed for are obesity and ADD/ADHD.
