Can welders have an MRI

Firstly all the other situations or medical conditions that would keep someone from having a MRI (Cat) scan still apply to welders.

of concern would be the chance of having ferrous metal in the body of the welder.

It could indeed rip right out of the body during the scan. Myself I would be worried about my eyes.
