How do you know when to give up on someone you really love?

Why would you give up? Do they know how you feel? If you love them but they don't share those feelings then you have to follow our heart. Sometimes things are worth fighting for and true love is one of those things, but sometimes you have to let go too. What is your heart telling you to do?
