How many hours a week is considered full time employment?

In Canada, a full time job is normally 40 hours per week . 52 weeks in a year. Total hours are 2080 per year. I work in Alberta , Canada, on a compressed work week. Working 7 days straight at 12 hours per day then having 7 days off. I get 80 hours regular time and 4 hours overtime.
