Is it normal to be given two antibiotics by your dentist?

It is only safe if at least one of the prescribing doctors knows what the other has prescribed also. Some antibiotics must never be taken together, and others can be taken together safely.

To be safe, ask at least one of the doctors about it. If that is not possible, at least discuss it with the pharmacist who fills the prescriptions.
