Are all rabbits in the field species?

Not all rabbits in a field belong to the same species; various species can coexist in a habitat. For example, in North America, you might find Eastern cottontails and various species of jackrabbits in the same area. Each species has its own unique characteristics, behaviors, and adaptations to the environment. Thus, while they may share a habitat, they are not all the same species.
