Does Spirit Airlines accept frequent flyer miles?

Spirit Airline's frequent flyer program, FREE Spirit Miles, is the worst in the industry. Spirit requires a minimum 7 day advance notice to use the miles and then they may or may not award requested travel. Ruins the main advantage of having miles, which is for last minute travel. Spirit says they have been updating their frequent flier program program for over two years to better handle all of of its "customer needs". It hasn't done a thing. I accrured over 150,000 miles prior to Spirit changing its FREE Spirit Miles program and now they are a total waste for my needs. Don't make the same mistake. Don't waste your time accruing FREE Spirit Miles. Fly another airline that values your business.
