Is there gold in printers

There is some gold inside a printer if you look at certain contacts. However, there is so little there that it would not be worth even $1 if you reclaimed the gold from a couple dozen printers. The reason being that the gold is not solid but, instead, just a gold plate which is only a few microns thick.
