The thing about coke is, it metabolizes differently from anything else so the only way to show positive for coke (assuming you're not sick) is to do coke. Advil looks a little like weed, poppy seeds look very much like smack, but only coke looks like coke. If you show positive for cocaine and you haven't done any cocaine, you need to do two things. The first is to get a confirmation test. Drug testers have to retain part of your sample for this. What they'll do is send your sample to another lab where they'll use a very sophisticated machine called a Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer to test your sample. If there's no cocaine in your sample, you won't get a positive on a GC/MS. The downside is GC/MS tests are more expensive than "drug panel" tests. The other thing is to go to the doctor and get a physical. If you're showing hot for coke and you didn't do any, there's something wrong with you.
