What is poetry mainly about?

If it is romance- it needs to come from the heart, how you feel

Funny- like Dr. Suess did, make it rhyme. And put funny catchphrases

For school- Take facts from the subject you are writing about and put it into a "song" type text (which will give you a poem)

Or just write whatever is on your mind.
