You have a colt match target 22 caliber pistol it has a serial number of 100431-s can you tell me when it was made and what series it was?

you probably have 2d/3d/ model target model of 1952. The Match Target Bullseye Model serial # ends with MT You would have a second series match target and it would not have the bullseye or target on the gun, but would say Match Target. This gun came in 4 1/2 & 6 inch barrels. Robert Rayburn's small book has lots of info for you. al
