Is there a national kids day?

Yes! There is a National Kids Day! It's on August 6th! To celebrate this day, the child or children and the parent(s) do something fun and bond. But, you may do whatever you like to celebrate NKD. National Kids Day is only celebrated for the ages 17 and under because when you turn 18, you're an adult.
