How do you provoke a person?

well lets say if a person hits you, (you hit them back) you hittting that person back is an ex. of provoking. Its also a term or use of bullying. So if you ever do this at school get ready to get ure stuff out of your locker, get work from all of you teachers because u r in oss, iss and mybe more. thats what happened to me
