What was family life like in 1910?

Nothing like family life in 2010.........probably boring........yeah definitely without HD or Tivo.......too much togetherness...........*shudders*

Two parent family, probably 1 or 2 grandparents in the home, mother kept house and raised the children, possibly still using kerosene lamps for light, all meal were cooked from scratch, possible there was no inside toilet, bath once a week, all children did chores around the house, you walked to get somewhere, no phone, dairy products delivered to the home, husband/father was the boss, children were punished with a belt as needed, children were polite, respectful, no car, you entertained yourselves, played games, sang songs, maybe you had a record player, most likely had 3-5 brothers or sisters very little crime, didn't have to lock your doors, knew you neighbors, were fairly happy most of the time,
