How do I reuse the Coors Light Home Draft Keg?

After searching all over the net and still no answer, I tackled this project myself! After the keg is empty, the tap unscrews from the bottle to refill. To remove the co2 housing, you will need a pair of plyers and unscrew until the one-way tabs bend backwards. After I removed it I just broke the tabs off. I am used a new co2 cartridge made for Paintball guns so it was a little smaller. To fix that, I dropped a washer into the co2 housing and wrapped tape around the top of the cartridge so it stayed centered. Now all I have to do is refill with beer of choice and screw the co2 all the way in!

One big watchout - messing with the CO2 can lead to damage of the plastic bottle, causing rupture, leaving a mess of liquid all over your firdge. just buy another one.
