This depends on what the hospital in question pays per hour for an ER doc. It also depends on how much the ER doc wants to work or how many shifts the doc can get a month. Also, you must consider which shift they are working, which can be a different amount per hour.
I work in a rural ER and this are the numbers at my hospital $170/hr, you work 12 hour shifts = $2040/shift If you work 4 days per week(48 hrs) that's $8160/week. If you get 2 weeks vacation and work 50 weeks/year = $408,00/year
Some ER's pay more and some pay less usually ranging between $125/hr - $225/hr.
