Can a police officer search your car because your passenger has an outstanding warrant?

my brother was supposidly on mistameanor probation so he told i supose it was an officer that pulled us over and asked him to remove himself from his car and upon doing so the officer told me to give up whatever i had in possesion because my brother william knight told the officer that i had some of personal use on me is it illegal if the cop lyed and billy never told him any such thing. I then was serched against my will after i was serched officer found something on the ground he concluded was what he wantid to arrest me. he gave my scale to my brother who is not legal to carry a scale .I am because of my marijuana licence. then he arrestid me an later the next few hours released me with a quart date. im requesting that it was a illeagel search and seizure...asking that case be dismissed do to constatutional laws
