Features of deccan plateau

1. It is the larges plateau spread over India
2. It is marked on its western and eastern edges by western and eastern ghats respectively.
3. The Deccan Plateau is a triangular landmass lying southwards of the river Narmada.
4. The plateau is higher in the west and slopes gently eastwards
5. The plateau has broad and shallow valleys and rounded hills.
