Why does my RV heater furnace blowers keep running when the temperature is up to temperature?

Blowers should continue running for a brief period after gas is shut off to extract residual heat remaining in hot plenum from burn process. It increases the efficiency for a given amount of fuel use. The heat remaining in the plenum will go someplace. Better to blow it into your living environment that to waste it as exhaust.
