Why a person cannot become a supervisor varies. Here are some of the common reasons:

1. They may have had repeat violations of the Community Guidelines or part 5, paragraph 2 of the Terms of Use Agreement. If you have a minor infraction on your record, you might still be a supervisor, but repeated violations usually disqualifies a person.

2. They may be underage. You must be at least age 13 to use the site and at least age 18 to be a supervisor. If that is the case, then just focus on your studies, join a program such as WIT, and wait it out and see if you still want to become a supervisor when the time comes.

3. The person's attitude or communication skills may be lacking or in need of work. If this is the case, you should work on this if you can. Get therapy or substance abuse counseling if you need it, take leadership classes, get gym membership, or whatever, then try again after some time. There is no guarantee you will be accepted even then, but it will not be wasted as you are worth it as a person and any self-improvement is worth it.

4. The person may have already been a supervisor and the community assistants believe they demonstrated a lapse in judgement. If you want to try again, it might not be possible. However, I would still show myself as a valuable asset to the site and work on whatever underlying issues that led up to that. If you don't know what happened, then the first road back would be discovering what role you played. If you were truly misunderstood, since things are not always as they seem, then maybe there's nothing you can do. Even entire juries can get it wrong, and they are usually the final Word. However, if you sincerely show an effort to fix whatever is wrong, and you show you are truly an asset to the site, and you can demonstrate you are becoming a better team player, there is a minute chance they may accept you back. There are no promises here. Just demonstrate that your actions are all in good faith, make as many inroads as you can, etc. And if nothing else, if there is ever a significant change in leadership, then the new leadership might offer you a chance.
