Is it better to use fossil fuels such as oil and gas or alternative energy sources such as geothermal and solar energy?

It is better to use alternative energy sources such as solar, wind, hydro, tidal and wave, geothermal among others. They are clean and green with no carbon dioxide (CO2) pollution. Carbon dioxide is one of the greenhouse gases which is causing global warming.
