What is Rose Cross?

"Rose cross" may refer to several different things. There is a mystic or esoteric organisation by the name of "The Rosicrucians" a Word stemming from the term Rosy Cross. There are also several degrees in Freemasonry by the name of Rose Croix (that is the spelling). These are largely cristian degrees. The rose cross was a symbol originally designed to depict the death and blood of Christ.
