What is it called when you wake up from an anaestetic and everyone is staring at you?

Usually after anesthesia you wake up a little confused due to the medication that is given to put you to sleep and you wake up in a recovery room and the nurses are caring for you. Because of the medication, you may feel everybody is looking at you bu its only to make sure everything is fine. The nurses take your blood pressure, temperature, heart rate and other vital signs every 5 minutes. They are probably not staring just making sure everything is ok.
