Can you travel in Europe with a UK settlement visa?

Since the UK is a member of the European Union, a citizen of the UK can travel visa-free throughout the EU and all its members. The UK is also in the EFTA, which grants visa-free access to some non-European Union members (Switzerland, Norway, and Iceland). In addition, all European countries but Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia are visa-free access for British nationals. The more powerful and more diplomatic relations a country has, the typical more visa-free access the citizens have.
