Why do so many people want to live in the US?

The US are an attractive country for many reasons.

- The US are a country of opportunities : you can begin with nothing and succeed. The Americans have no problem with the idea of earning money and becoming rich. The idea American dream is deeply rooted in people minds.

- The US are far from being a perfect country but it is a democracy, and, as such, are seen as a land of freedom.
