How do you stop shoelaces becoming untied?

Firstly you could try by doing a normal dubble loop not that looks like a figure of eight, or secondly you could get the two loops and tie them into another knot just like the way you start of. Or you could just buy slip ons. Also you tie it in knots until not even you can undo them.
