General Vicente Lim was a prominent Filipino military leader during World War II, best known for his role in the defense of the Philippines against Japanese forces. He served as the commander of the Philippine Army's 21st Division and was involved in the defense of Bataan. After the fall of Bataan, he was captured and later died in a Japanese prison camp in 1944. Lim is remembered for his courage and leadership during a challenging period in Philippine history.
