Can dolphins sleep in water

Yes they can. Dolphins are aquatic mammals so they have to sleep in the water. They cannot live on land. Only one side (hemisphere) of the dolphin's brain goes into deep sleep. The other hemisphere stays alert to allow the dolphin to surface for air and to watch for predators.
