It depends on how much quantity of it you have.

For the sake of argument, if we assume 1 standard Troy Ounce, then for 24karat pure gold it would be as of 4th July 2010 about $1200.

14 karat gold is 14/24 is rougly 58% pure gold so 1 oz of it would be worth:

1200 * 58% = $700
