Who is the leader of AU?

As of October 2023, the African Union (AU) is led by the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, a position held by Moussa Faki Mahamat since March 2017. The AU's leadership also includes a rotating presidency, which changes annually among member states. The current Chairperson of the AU is Azali Assoumani, President of Comoros, who took over in February 2023.
