Can abortions be banned in public hospitals?

If it becomes illegal, yes. GOP wants to defund PPL because they want to get rid of abortions and that means all abortion. Many states already have a law that says that surgical abortion can only be performed in a hospital. Also if they manage to get through that doctors will not be allowed to learn how to do abortions it might not be banned but there will be no one to perform them including those for health reasons.
