Have the very same bike and had the very same problem. Both the headlight and starter relay run through the starter push button. If you are mechanically savy you can acually take the switch apart while its still on the bike. You will find the spring loaded bar that makes contact with the four brass buttons (two for the headlights and two for the starter relay when the button is pushed in) to be jammed in. If you carefully pull the switch apart and just debur everything, lube it up with non conductive grease and put it back together it should be OK. Good luck! Mark
